About Me

Double & Electric Bass player with perfect pitch available for private/commercial bookings as well as live/touring/studio and theatre work. I pride myself on my versatility, dedication to the authentic and musicality.

I've been collecting life and music experiences for as long as I can remember. The first of which came on a Christmas morning where I received my first guitar. Taking influence from the Rock & Blues legends I quickly developed a canon of material which didn't go unnoticed from my schools director of music and soon enough I was playing in concerts, musicals and a tour of America with the school's Motown band.

I graduated from school and went straight to Lincoln's Access To Music, a music college with a fine reputation of creating hard working and talented musicians. It was here where I switched to playing bass guitar, as a result I was busy playing in a multitude of bands and styles across the country, bands include Progzilla, Karl Svarc, Peyoti For President and Swampfoot. After I graduated I took up the role of Bass Guitar & Dep. Tutor for Access To Music and eventually went back to studying at the Birmingham Conservatoire's BMus Jazz program. Here I took up playing the double bass and was involved with the Big Band and ensembles both in and outside university, I also had the privilege of studying under Arnie Somogyi, Gene Calderazzo, Fred Baker, Jean Toussaint and for a brief time Dave Holland.

I decided to move back to London and finished my degree at Middlesex University with the likes of Chris Batchelor, Nikki Isles, Jules Jackson, Carl Orr, Dave Ohm, Martin Speake and Rod Townsend. I'm proud to say that I've played with some of the best musicians in the UK and learnt from the best in the music business.
